You Are Called For A Bigger Purpose

This Bible verse might be very familiar to you. So before reading, pause and ask God to give you fresh eyes and an open heart to absorb it.

Those who are devoted to God will flourish like budding date-palm trees;
they will grow strong and tall like cedars in Lebanon.
Those planted in the house of the Eternal
will thrive in the courts of our God.
 They will bear fruit into old age;
even in winter, they will be green and full of sap

Psalm 92:12-14 The Voice

Pot plant is a plant grown or suitable for growing in a flowerpot, especially indoors (in a protected environment).

Pot plant Christians are those believers who only grows within their comfort zone- within that circumference, they only stay indoors-in any protected environment, even though God didn’t made them a plant that only grows in a pot, they have chosen to be one. They have potentials to become a palm tree just as Psalm 92:12 stated, but because of their laziness, because of their complacency, they choose to stay in that protected environment.

Funny thing about pot plant Christians is they bear no or few fruits, they only produce limited fruits and sometimes if they are not watered often, they die.

So I pose the question, Are you a pot plant Christian? Do have the characteristics of a pot plant?

The honest truth is you have so much more to offer, your purpose,  your fruits are so great but if you don’t grow you will die.

Don’t you want to flourish?

Don’t you want more saved souls in this Heaven race?

Are you not tired of being in the same position you’ve been since you got saved?

Remember, God is not looking at how beautiful your pot is – you don’t need to feel qualified. He is looking at the plant – He is more interested in you, the treasures He had deposited in you.

See, no matter what God gives you, you must always do your best as the Lord’s servant to make it grow, and you can’t afford to be just a pot plant in this mission field.

Get up, shake off every spirit of laziness, you are not working for man, you are working for your God, your saviour. The One who took the fall so you don’t have to!

ARISE Intercessors, ARISE from your sleep.

The time is now. God wants to use you for a bigger purpose!

You have an assignment.

Your seeds are as great as the sequoia tree (the world’s largest tree- General Sherman) but you’ve got to break out of those pots to be as great as the original tree God designed you for.

You have what it takes because you have Him

A pot plant Christian cannot lead others to Christ. Why? Because they are busy sitting in their comfort zone. 2 Timothy 2:15; do everything you can to present yourself to God as a man who is fully genuine, a worker unashamed of your mission, a guide capable of leading others along the correct path defined by the word of truth.

You cannot do this if you remain in this pot. You cannot present yourself to God as a fully genuine worker if you decide to stay in your area of comfort. Anyone can do that!

Remember in Revelation 3:16, God says if you are lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, He will vomit you out of His mouth.

A tree that does not bear good fruits will be cut down.

This message speaks volume to me now like it did in Jesus days to the disciples.

So as for you and me, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Let us encourage and build each other up in love. And the word of God is a two edged sword, this message speakers louder to me the writer.

Love, Dami xo

Desperation Has A Sound

Have you ever been desperate for something in your life before?
Yes?
Then you can imagine what was going on in the head of the blind Bartimaeus… when people tried to drown his voice; scolding him to shut up, to be quiet but instead of giving up as the storm rages, the nearer Jesus got to him, the louder he became.
He shouted even more loudly, “Jesus! Son of David! Have mercy on me!.”
Why?
Because desperate people do desperate things.
Are you desperate too?
Are you desperate for a miracle? for a breakthrough? for a better relationship with God? desperate for a revival? desperate for a new job? for an open door? desperate for healing? Desperate for direction? for a new vision?
I want you to cry out louder than ever before, louder than this blind man.
Become louder than ever before even as the storm rages, get more louder!
Desperation has a sound!
Be louder in your worship; the power of your worship is a sound to Heaven, a desperation sound.
Be louder in your prayers till He answers you.
If you are like me, if you have a need then cry out today, Declare to Jesus! Son of David Have mercy on me!
And God’s delivery system is called FAITH.
Bartimaeus had a little bit of Faith and the man that was once blind can now see.
Desperation Has A Sound.
Your miracle awaits you.

July: Remain

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

John 15:4 NIV

Choices…

I am who I am today because of the choices I made yesterday.

– Eleanor Roosevelt

It has been a wonderful month I must say; a month of grace indeed! I mean I have been blessed in ways I cannot fathom. I have also found myself making some choices, both great and small… so I thought I’d write a word or two about the choices we make.

The choices we make are key to the priorities we practice.

From the first day we become born again, we’ve been trying to choose good over evil, better over good, and best over better. The importance of such choices cannot be overestimated or overemphasized. As we’ve all heard, if you want to know what you’ll be like in the future, just look at the choices you are making today. As now, so then! It’s something of a riddle. And so are these two thoughts:

“What you are today (based on the choices you’re making) is what you are becoming” and “You are today what you have been becoming (based on the choices you’ve already made).” Our choices, which reflect our priorities, will help us fulfill God’s design for our lives. Getting everything done-or deciding what doesn’t need to be done-is a matter of choice. Whether you are dealing with the next five minutes, the next hour, tomorrow, or forever, the choices you make all the difference in the world!

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Remember to always ask God’s opinion first, it will make a huge difference.

James 1:5  says “if any of you lacks wisdom, ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to you.”

Lastly, the C’s of life: Choices, Chances, Changes. You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.

Choose to overcome your limiting beliefs and achieve your goals. The choice is yours, choose life so that you may live.

God bless you,

Love, Dami xo
