Ok, I don’t know how this background image got onto my phone but I sure know it’s for a reason.
So, the Holy Spirit brought this bible verse to my remembrance this morning on my run. “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
While I am in this season, the Lord reminded me that He is my Light even in the darkness.
Going back to the background image, can you see how the light is overcoming the dark?! Jesus is with you even in the darkness! Best believe that!
You are not alone!
Love, Dami x

Hello, hope you are keeping well and safe? What a privilege to be alive!
Recently I was reminded of the beauttides; Jesus’ sermon on the mountain. I thought I’d share as I was inspired and encouraged by these verses. I pray it inspires, encourages and refines you, Amen!
The beatitudes are inner teaching given to the few who deeply long to know God. More so, in this time of quarantine, it is important to take time to hear from God and let His Word refine your heart.
Have you ever asked yourself why Jesus took time out to teach the people about the beatitudes?
I believe He was offering blessings to them. Jesus was teaching them the very great, highest…of what it is to be blessed with divine favour. He is also doing the same to you today.
The dictionary defines beatitude as supreme blessedness.
Bible Passage: Matthew 5:1-12 KJV
Before you read, I want you to open your hands with your palms facing up. Sit for a moment in stillness and ask your heavenly Father to tell you important words you need to hear today. Tell Him that you are open to His guidance…receive it.
Now read the verses.
And seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came unto Him: And He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying,
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Take each one of the beatitudes and ponder on it. What might God be communicating to you? Listen for God to speak to you. Ask Him for help where you fall short.
Remember, He loves you so much and He is closer than your skin. He wants you to have the blessed life that only He can give.
Enjoy the supreme blessedness 🙂
I love you,
