Great Peace

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 NLT

How often I’ve found that my lack of peace is directly related to my lack of going to the Word of God. I stopped eating what I really needed!

If you lack peace, If you are afraid and losing control….could it be that you are neglecting to read your Bible or diminishing its importance?

David testified,

“For those who love what you reveal, everything fits – no stumbling around in the dark for them. Great is their peace.”

– Psalm 119:65

God has given you and I promises that brings peace in the midst of our panic, but we must tune our hearts to listen to His voice daily.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

Prophet Isaiah also testified,

“People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, Steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don’t quit.”

– Isaiah 26:3

I want to encourage you this week to keep searching the scriptures to hear God’s voice in every situation or season in your life.

He is always eager to speak to us and give us great peace like a river flow.

He is our Jehovah Shalom and great peace is a promise He keeps.

John 16:33 -“I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world, you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.”
